2017 Show Season ends on a high
Our 2017 show season has come to an end!! We are very happy with the results we achieved this year. We were once again proud of our genetics and the results they continue to produce for other studs. The "EKKA" remained a happy hunting ground with Sylvan Springs Midori 1000 (Ianbrae Wanted) out of the blocks early, winning the first class of the day (8-12mths) from a field of 10 entries. She went on to claim the Reserve Junior Champion Female ribbon for females up to 20mths, not a bad effort for a 9mth old heifer. Sylvan Springs Mustang 964 (Ianbrae Wanted) placed 2nd in the bull 16-18mths(5 entries).
RSVP Lipstick (Sylvan Springs Cowboy) was placed first in the heifer 20-22mths(7 entries). RSVP Lumberjack and RSVP Lighthorse, both sons of Billabong Armstrong were placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Bull 20-22mths class(5 entries). Lumberjack and Lighthorse teamed up to take out 3rd place in the pair of bulls(4 entries) and then with Lipstick to be placed 2nd in the Breeders Group from a field of 6 groups.
Nindethana Droughtmasters continued on their amazing run with youngsters by RSVP Jackpot. Nindethana Impact was first in the Bull 8-12mths(9 entries) and went on to claim the Reserve Junior Champion Bull Sash. Nindethana Innika was placed 2nd in the heifer 8-12mths(10 entries). This pair then teamed up with Indira to claim a 2nd place in the Sires Progeny. Nindethana Henrietta (Ivanhoe Force) also claimed a win in the Heifer 22-24mths. Congratulations Bronwyn and Michael on your continued success with RSVP Genetics.
